Haven't read the book. Didn't know what to expect from the movie. Generally ok performance from all of the actors, but nothing special.
Dorian Gray arrives in London to take possession of his late dad's estate. Soon enough, he is befriended by Lord Henry Wotton, who is a bad (to put it mildly) influence to him. Despite indulging in all of the vices available to him, Dorian doesn't suffer the effects of age. His fountain of youth lies in a lifelike portrait that he keeps in his attic. It is the portrait that ages and get corrupted.
When Dorian turns his attention to Henry's daughter Emily, Henry takes matter into his own hands, and burns the portrait. Dorian finally saw the portrait for what it is and goes down with it in a fiery explosion. At the end of the movie, we see that Henry has the "restored" portrait in his own attic.
