Took me a few weeks of commuting time before I finished the audiobook version of
Sophie's World. If I haven't been using
Audio Speed Changer, it would've taken me longer. The book is basically a summary of western philosophy from the earliest Greek philosophers till the present day. That's going to be super-boring, so Jostein Gaarder put his lessons within a storytelling framework, where two characters eventually discovered they're part of the story, and works against the author.
A pretty good effort; better (and faster) than attending a full-blown philosophy course.
