More Gingerbread

So I've had a chance to play around with JVP, and I must say it's the fastest ROM I've tried. (Already mentioned that before.)
My only complaints are:
  • There is no live wallpaper support.
  • There is only one ringtone and one notification tone.
  • Even though this is 2.3.4, there is no VoIP support.
  • Boot animation is just a scrolling bootlog of Tegrak.
Spent the rest of the night trying to put these back in with mixed results.
Download SGS2 live wallpapers from here:

Install as normal APK.

Get additional apps from the RomKitchen/Stefunel's update.zip generator:

Don't bother with the kernel, modem, and boot animations. Just select the apps, then Generate!

If you want FM Radio and Screen Capture, get them from here:

Normally, you would install update.zip using CWM recovery. With a Tegrak kernel, you have to place the file in /sdcard/tegrak/folder directory, then run Tegrak recovery on bootup. More details here:

Installed FM Radio, MIUI Music Player, and Voice Recorder this way.

As for ringtones and notification tones, I managed to download some stock SGS and SGS2 ringtones from the Internet. Install via update.zip didn't work, so took the MP3 and OGG files and pushed them to /system/media/audio directory via ES File Explorer. (Root Explorer is too expensive for me.) New ringtones and notification tones worked fine, but disappeared again after a reboot. Strangely, the files are still in /system/media/audio. Fixed this by moving the files to /sdcard/media/audio.
