Got free tickets to The Boys Are Back. We probably won't have watched the movie if not so. From the reviews I've read prior to watching, it sounds like a drama/tearjerker. Not really my type. Then again, I've got nothing better to do tonight.
Clive Owen plays a sportswriter dad trying to deal with the tragic death of his wife, raising two sons on his own. And how does he achieve that - just say yes to all the kids' wishes. Now, that's a surefire way to get into trouble. There's the juggling of professional work with personal life, sibling rivalry, some tension as a new girlfriend moves into their lives, etc. In the end, as always, everything works out ok.
Is it any good?
