I'm surprised
Luc Besson has anything to do with these Taxi movies. The same Luc Besson who gave us
Leon (the Professional),
La Femme Nikita, and
The Fifth Element.

Both movies have essentially the same plot elements: insolent criminals, a bumbling over-the-top police force, an overspeeding street-smart taxi driver who is forced to help out Marsailles' Finest or lose his license. The only good thing going for this Taxi series are the car chase scenes. Full stop. If that's all you care, you might as well watch the Bourne series or Fast and Furious instead.
A total waste of time and hard disk space.
