From the masters of romantic comedies come
My Boyfriend Is Type B. I never liked the romcoms they're churning out these days, but given that this
movie is pretty famous, thought I'd give it a try. Bad decision. There's nothing special about his film. It's just a bunch of situational comedies strung together to make the time. Only real fans of Lee Dong-Geon and Han Ji-Hye would want to watch this. And Han Ji-Hye is not that cute anyway.

Story is built upon the premise that one's blood type determines one's personality and compatibility with another person. Lead actor Lee Dong-Geon plays Young-Bin, who is handsome, macho, conceited, brash, and obnoxious. Because he's a jerk, he runs through a string of girlfriends until he meets sweet and soft-spoken Han Mi. She seems gullible enough, so he takes her in as his next girlfriend. Cue here the typical boy-girl scenes: movies, dinners, flowers, serenades, after-school meetings, etc. Eventually, Han Mi discovers the jerk that he is, and dumps him. Of course, Young-Bin makes a huge effort and wins her back. No surprise there.
