The Incredibles Meet the Fockers

Incredible! After four weeks of theater run, The Fockers is raking in more money than The Incredibles. That's A$25,844,654 for Meet the Fockers compared to The Incredibles' A$22,073,261.

I, for one, thought that The Incredibles is one of Pixar's best movies. As for The Fockers, I wouldn't watch it even on TV. The movie is one long joke (not even funny), the storyline is cliched and impossible, the leading lady is not pretty, Robert de Niro has a permanent scowl, and Dustin Hoffman's acting is only so-so. Well, there's only so much you can do with that kind of script. The only ones who turned in a good performance are Barbra Streisand, Ben Stiller, and the baby.

Having said that, I did watch Meet the Fockers. Wait! That's only because I already paid for three tickets, which expired last Dec. 31. After Ocean's 12 and The Incredibles, that's the only movie left to see. Such a waste of money.
