More free movie tickets. Did You Hear about the Morgans? starring Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker. No wonder they're giving away tickets.Not as bad as I expected though. The movie starts off with Paul Morgan trying to win back his estranged wife Meryl. He cheated on the wife during a business trip in LA, that's why. They go out for dinner, witnesses a murder, and had to be enrolled in the Witness Relocation Program. They end up in Ray, Wyoming of all places.
Here, they jog in the morning, ride horses, shoot rifles, play bingo, run away from bears, etc. Just when things are coming along nicely, Meryl drops a bombshell. She actually slept with another man during the three months they were separated. Back to square one. But there's nothing like a killer on the loose to bring two people together.
The killer managed to track them to the isolated town. In the face of danger, Paul risks his life and goes after the gunman. The townsfolk surrounds the bad guy with their guns. Meryl was so touched by her husband's heroic act, she gives him another chance.Fast forward to six months, back in NYC. The couple adopts a Chinese baby, and Meryl is actually pregnant. Ah, happy endings.
