Movie 2014.04.24 - Chaos Theory

The whole movie is basically a flashback of the father-in-law-to-be to his son-in-law-to-be. The SIL was about to chicken out during the wedding day, so the FIL told him his sob story to put things in perspective.

Frank (Ryan Reynolds) starts his first day on the time efficiency motivational talk circuit by being 10 minutes late. Thanks to his hot wife Susan (Emily Mortimer). He gets propositioned aggressively by a fan in his hotel room. The wife finds out about this. He drives a pregnant woman who's about to give birth to the hospital, and inadvertently puts his name as the father. Again, the wife finds out about this, and kicks him out of the house. To prove that he's not the father of the baby, he takes a medical exam and finds out that he has Klinefeleter's syndrome, which means he's actually sterile since birth. So who's the father of his little daughter Jesse? Buddy, his best friend. Susan eventually finds out the whole truth, and tries to get back with Frank. Frank buys a gun and waits for Buddy at the beach house. Buddy thinks that Frank is about to commit suicide, and rushes to the beach house to talk him out of it.
